New friends of the truth were won in the Asian republics Kyrgyzstan and Kazakhstan after the missionary visit Pastor Vladimire Marinov made to these countries from April 15 to May 14, 2024, Pastor Vladimire Marinov, member of the European Division Committee at the IMS, confirmed on Friday, May 31, 2024.

“Before my arrival in Kyrgyzstan, sister Olya, who was baptized last year, prepared a room for the Christian worship. The room renovation was made by a brother from the Advent church who visited our Christian worship meetings every Sabbath”, Pastor Vladimire Marinov mentioned.  “I could meet many interested souls, some of them Muslims, and to have spiritual conversations with them. Brother Pavel, who was from the Advent church, showed a big interest and I hoped that, by God’s grace, he would accept the message of the International Missionary Society. An woman, who showed a big interest as well, told us how God prolonged her life after heavy surgery interventions. Sister Olya’s son expressed his desire to be baptized, however, a preparation for the baptism was needed. Another woman, who belonged to the Lutheran church, but attended our Christian worship meetings as well, was convinced that the Sabbath was God’s holy day”, Pastor Vladimire Marinov added.

Furthermore, Pastor Vladimire Marinov’s stay in Kazakhstan took a week and the Lord’s Supper was celebrated during the visit to that country. “Together with Brother Nikolay, we visited a Christian family from the Advent church that studied our Sabbath school lessons. There was a big hope of their accepting in the Reformation Christian church of the IMS next year”, Pastor Vladimire Marinov confirmed.
