Pastor Tzvetan Petkov, General Conference President at the International Missionary Society (IMS) of Seventh Day Adventist – Reform Movement, started a missionary trip in Africa, after which he would visit Sri Lanka and Australia, Pastor Anton Salavyov, Leader of Division Oceania at IMS, confirmed. That means that Pastor Tzvetan Petkov has to celebrate the beginning of the new year 2023 far away from his home. However, this is the life of every true Christian missionary: to dedicate his time and heart to the Lord’s service and to be ready to visit every nation around the world where the Savior sends him to.

Pastor Tzvetan Petkov was born in the city of Shumen, Bulgaria, in 1962. He graduated woodcraft at the National Academy of Arts in Sofia, Bulgaria, and theology at the Bethany International Missionary School of IMS in Neckarsteinach, Germany. Pastor Tzvetan Petkov worked as faithful God’s servant in Sweden, Germany and the United States of America. As Secretary and First Vice President at IMS, he organized successfully the General Conference IMS headquarters relocation from Mosbach, Germany, to Cedartown, Georgia, USA. At the last World Assembly of IMS in Tortoreto, Italy, Pastor Tzvetan Petkov received the resposibility to serve God as General Conference President at IMS.
