An important Christian conference was held last Sabbath, on August 9 to 10, 2024, in Toijala, a part, together with Viiala, of the town of Akaa, Finland, Pastor Vladimire Marinov, Member of the Committee of the European Division at the IMS, confirmed the event today, on August 17, 2024. Pastor Franco Caputo, Treasurer of the European Division at the IMS, took part in the Christian conference.

In addition, Pastor Franco Caputo preached an important sermon under the title “The Joy of Martin Luther” (the sermon, presented in Spanish and translated into Finnish and Russian, was published via YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oQnCUvtMA3o)  based on the verse 24 of the third chapter of the Romans: “And all are justified freely by his grace through the redemption that came by Christ Jesus.” Furthermore, Pastor Franco Caputo underlined the crucial biblical truth that God’s salvation was a gift through Christ’s grace, but not a sinner’s merit through the self-torture of a monk. Mentioning Romans 8:31-37, Pastor Franco Caputo explained God’s plan to save us through the merit of Christ’s sacrifice and shed blood only and to grant us the three levels of the Christian perfection: justification, sanctification and glorification.
