One soul, a sister in the faith of Jesus, will be baptized tomorrow, on Sabbath, August 24, 2024, in the village of Sandrovo, district Ruse, Bulgaria, Pastor Dimitar Vlachkov, Bulgarian Field President, revealed today, on Friday, August 23, 2024. Pastor Vladimire Marinov, Member of the European Division Committee at the IMS, who arrived in Bulgaria on August 15, 2024, and is paying a missionary visit in the Bulgarian Field, will perform the baptism in the Danube river.

Sandrovo, where the house of Pastor Vladimire Marinov’s birth is situated as well, is a village which is located fifteen kilometers away from the city of Ruse, Bulgaria. By the way, the village of Sandrovo was the place, where the Bulgarian Prince Alexander of Battenberg, called by nickname Sandro, stepped for the first time on Bulgarian territory in 1879. and he reigned until his abdication in 1886. In addition, Ruse, Bulgaria’s fifth largest city, located on the right bank of the Danube and known for its 19th- and 20th-century Neo/Baroque and Neo-Rococo architecture, was the birthplace of the Nobel laureate in Literature Elias Canetti as well.
