Would you like to gain some work experience abroad? Do you enjoy working with children and teens in a Christian environment? Are you eager, enthusiastic and energetic? The IMS Education Department offers you practical work in one of the well-established church schools in the US, Central America, South America and Africa.

2. Fill in the required information by using the “Fill&Sign” application in Adobe.

3. Send the application form along with the other required documents to info@imseducation.org.

Who can apply?
  1. Anyone age 18 and above. This includes high school grads, college students, adults, and the retired.
What are the requirements?
  1. You should be a member of, or at least regularly attend, an IMS church.
  2. You should submit a copy of your diploma, certificate or degree, and a letter of recommendation.
  3. You should have a valid visa (if required) and health insurance.
  4. You should speak a basic level of the language of the country in which you will intern.
  5. You should enjoy working with children and teens.
  6. You should be willing to adapt to local vegetarian/vegan dietary habits.
  7. You should be dependable and flexible.
What are the responsibilities?
  1. You are expected to observe and assist in classrooms.
  2. You are required to complete at least one project with the students.
  3. You should attend and participate in school staff meetings.
  4. At the end of your internship, you will give a written report in either English or Spanish.
What are the benefits?
  1. You have the opportunity to support a school in a foreign country for 2 to 6 weeks.
  2. You have the chance to get to know new people and exchange ideas with professionals.
  3. The school will provide food and accommodation.
  4. The school will provide you with a written recommendation for future internship opportunities.
