Who can apply?
- Anyone age 18 and above. This includes high school grads, college students, adults, and the retired.
What are the requirements?
- You should be a member of, or at least regularly attend, an IMS church.
- You should submit a copy of your diploma, certificate or degree, and a letter of recommendation.
- You should have a valid visa (if required) and health insurance.
- You should speak a basic level of the language of the country in which you will intern.
- You should enjoy working with children and teens.
- You should be willing to adapt to local vegetarian/vegan dietary habits.
- You should be dependable and flexible.
What are the responsibilities?
- You are expected to observe and assist in classrooms.
- You are required to complete at least one project with the students.
- You should attend and participate in school staff meetings.
- At the end of your internship, you will give a written report in either English or Spanish.
What are the benefits?
